Mackie M-1400 Power Amp

The Mackie M-1400 is a high power stereo power amp with up to 1400 watts rms of power (Mono-Bridged Mode at 4 ohms). Mackie has designed the M-1400 with excellent quality components that allows the amp to easily handle 2 ohm loads even at high output levels. T-Design cooling is used on all M-series power amps. This is a fan based cooling system that will vary the speed of the fan depending upon how much cooling is required by these high output amps. It also helps keep down the noise and distortion.

Mackie has added a fast recovery circuit that helps to reduce distortion when the output is near clipping. The unit also has a high-pass filter 2nd order/12dB per octave used to remove low frequency that can take up to 70% of the amps output. It also has 4th order 24dB/oct Link with-Riley crossovers that are used for subwoofers. The M-1400 also has a built-in limiter to reduce the possibility of outputting DC when the amp is pushed to it's maximum level. You can connect to the inputs using XLR inputs. The speaker outputs are Nuetrik Speakron connectors (for easy no non-sense) connections as well as a 5-way binding post for hardwired connections. There are two gain control knobs that are detented so you can feel your way in the dark after dropping your flash light or for accurate gain settings between each channel.
