Extron SW4 VGAxi Auto Switch

Auto-switching allows any input of the switcher to be selected automatically when the switcher detects a sync signal. For example, a number of wall plate receptacles can be installed around a room, each routed to one input of a switcher. As soon as an active video source is connected to the wall plate the switcher will automatically select that input making connectivity seamless.

The switchers are user-configurable for manual or auto-switching modes and the inputs are terminated with a 75 ohm impedance when not selected. This auto-switch function can be enabled or disabled via a toggle switch.

All of the switchers have a 25-pin contact closure remote control port that may be used with Extron's RS-232 2-4-6-8 Controller (to enable RS-232 control), Extron Keypad Remote Controller (KP-10) or Extron's Infrared Remote (IR-10). The VGA and Mac switchers are 1U high and 1/2 rack width and may be mounted onto an optional rack shelf (PN: 60-190-01). The RGB switchers are 2U high, 1/2 rack width and may be mounted on an optional Universal Rack Shelf (PN: 60-032-01).
